School hours

School hours are from 9:00am to 3:15pm. Students are expected to be at school by the time the music begins at 8:55am and inside their classrooms, ready to begin the day by the time the school bell rings at 9:00am.

The school grounds are supervised from 8:45am and after school until 3:30pm. If students need to be dropped at school earlier than 8:45am or after 3:30pm, we have Camp Australia Out of School Hours care available.

Daily Timetable

8.45am (unless attending before-school care): Arrival at school  

9.00am - 11.00am: Learning session 1    

11.00am - 11.30am: Recess                            

11.30am - 1.30pm: Learning session 2          

1.30pm - 2.15pm: Lunch (supervised lunch eating 1.30pm - 1.40pm)                               

2.15pm - 3.15pm: Learning session 3         

3.15pm: Dismissal                             

Note: students are dismissed at 2.30pm on the last day of each term and at 1.30pm on the last day of the school year.

2017 Term dates

Student-Free Days

The Department of Education allows schools to declare four student-free days each year for teachers to work on curriculum and professional development. Students are not expected on school on these days.
